PROCRASTINATION, what can I say.
whatever. lots of awesome people admit that they procrastinate. Chris Sanders. Leonardo Da Vinci. Douglas Adams.

Anyway, since that update long ago, a crapload of weird stuff has happened for your internetical reading pleasure.

1. I turned sixteen. OH GEEZE SO OLD GROSS. but yeah. sixteeen, man. It feels pretty much the same as fifteen, except people are like "Oh, so you're sixteen? GO DRIVE ME PLACES"

2. "adopted" Veronica, Demitri's sister. idk if adoption is technically the right term. we "legal guardianized" them. or something.

Of course, they're secretly crazy on the inside.
It's like having long-lost siblings I guess? they're pretty awesome.

3. In the infinite space of time since I updated last, I drew a bajillion pictures. That I should really, really stick here. But I'm super lazy.

So instead here's a thumbnail of a fairy sketch thing that I did while watching Ferngully. I'll finish it. I promise(maybe)

I SWEAR, I'll upload more art. and regularly. promise. starting... the next time I draw something I like, and don't have to do homework. glarghlefarble.

I still can't believe it. I feel so.... friggin psyched out of my mind/nervous/anxious/hopeful/hell yes

the best part? In the "welcome to the animation program" thingy, it says
"Prepare to become wizards of time and space!"

Oh yes. summer's gonna rock.

I went to the PostSecret Exhibit/Lecture thing at University of Redlands, and it was incredible.

For those who don't know what post secret is, it's a community art project that Frank Warren created a few years ago. He invited strangers to take their secrets, write them down on postcards, and send them to him anonymously. The project got bigger and bigger, and now there are books and a blog and all kinds of awesomeness. http://www.postsecret.blogspot.com  <--- blog!

I was at Target the other day, and noticed that they stopped selling the old school Polaroid instant film. I looked it up, and apparently they're done. Polaroid's shut down the factories that make it because it's pretty archaic, and no one really has the old polaroid cameras anymore. Kinda old news apparently, but it was still pretty shocking.

:( so that sucks. there's film still being sold on ebay though. it expires 8/09.

700 photos for $1000.

might just buy one more pack of the 10 photos for $15 kind and take ten last polaroids.

Sure, it's not really a big deal, but it still feels really sad.

I finished all the books I got! They were AWESOME yay.

And I got Persepolis at blockbuster for $10. SUCH A GOOD MOVIE heck yes.

stuff which is happening:
*we dissected owl pellets in  bio. we did that in fourth grade, but it's significant because it is a sign of more disgusting dissections to come, such as fetal pigs and brains and things. ughhhh dreading that.
*gonna go see Coraline! hope it's good.
*going to a PostSecret art show hopefully! 
*and some other art show in L.A.
*hopefully going to Bamboozle this year if I'm not broke
*and winter formal. ewwww. haha

And also I have been drawing a lot. Nothing good though blehh
maybe I'll overcome my procrastination and upload some pictures or something! that would be good.

This is so crazy. My family is in the process of adopting my estranged best friend, Demitri.

HOKAY. SO.
firstly, I'm on a book-related bender right now. I ran out to barnes & noble and bought like a gazillion books, because I realized that the last time  read a really good book was when the last Harry Potter book came out.

I got:
1. the color of water - it's a black guy's tribute to his white mom. it's really good so far, it give both their perspectives
2. watchmen - because I want to read the comic first before seeing the movie. I hate when you see the movie first and then it just feels weird.
3. the hobbit - the last time I read this was in 3rd grade, and I can't remember any of it XD
4. the book thief - because Stephanie told me to, and I read part of it online and it's gooood
5. stiff - SEXUAL JOKE LOLOLOL but seriosly it's terrible and intruiging at the same time. It's about what happens to dead bodies (cadavers) after they've been donated to science. like helping plastic surgeons and scientists and whatnot.

OH and I found out who my secret santa was! IT WAS STACY. such trickery! gasp!

So yeah, my high school had it's production of A Christmas Carol tonight. Me, Katie, Nikki, Robyn, Brittany, and Little Brit were ushers.

It was really cool! They had this little 6th grader as Tiny Tim, and it was SOOO CUTE the entire audience went "AAAWWWWW" when he said "Oh mother, I do love plum!" And the pyrotechnics were pretty freaking awesome. We had walls of fire and stuff.

The best part? at the end, Mr. King FREAKING RICKROLLED EVERYONE hahahhaha because it was prank night. and someone put tapioca pudding in this dudes shoes XD

So yeah! pretty awesome.

haha when was the last time I updated this? Like early October? ughhhh XP


ANYWAY I finally learned flash (well not really. I learned how to push the F6 button) and so I made my first actually-kind-of working animation.
So, yeah. Bye, hopefully I'll remember to update this more often XD

YESSS so awesome. I love the rain. Rain is to me as sun is to normal people. Weird, huh? Like they say that rain triggers depression in people, but it doesn't seem to do that for me. Instead its like YAAAAY ITS RAINING LETS GO TO DISNEYLAND.

(unfortunately disneyland is also in desert-y land)

so yeah, I'm starting to come down with fluish symptons and whatnot.

ARRRGH although it's not as bad as it was when I last got it.

I've had 3 cups of tea so far. two earl greys and one red chai, and right now I'm making some pomegranite white tea. so that's helpful-ish I guess?

chicken soup and orange juice sounds like heaven right now, but alas, I can't drive to the store to get some.

I'm about 4'11" by the way (which is way too midgety for a sophomore) so even if I did have my licence, I would be too short and flu-filled to really drive.

I WANT IT TO RAIN

I have said that maybe 60-70 times in the past week or two, and about a zillion over the past summer. I am not a "good morning sunshine" kinda person. I love love love the rain, but it never rains here. NEVER RNNG

mmmyep. this was a fascinating blog. but I gotta go type up an essay on Ender's Game. I hate that book. haaate.
